The Firebird

The Firebird is the story of a boy who must set out on a difficult quest to bring his father, the Tsar of Russia, the mythical Firebird, or risk losing his father’s love forever. On the way he meets many dangers, such as the evil magician, Koschei the Deathless (who turns out to be more deaf than deathless), and the wicked witch, Baba Yaga. But he also makes some friends, and falls head over heels in love with the ice princess, Vasilisa. Oh and he ends up with two birds.

A humorous script with catchy songs, some with simple part-singing. The script has speaking parts for 27 children, with many more walk on parts if necessary.
